LDP + MLA [Integrated MLA]
The Department of Landscape Architecture offers an integrated degree option through the LDP program. This option admits a limited number of students each year and allows qualified students to complete the LDP and MLA in six years rather than seven years.
Applicants for the integrated program status complete the first three years of their LDP degree requirements (see recommended degree plan) before beginning their senior year. Students then complete the first year of the MLA professional program in their undergraduate senior year. These courses carry upper division credit and satisfy senior year LDP requirements.
Separate requirements, such as a letter of interest, portfolio, and other documents (see Admissions page), must be submitted in January of the year that students are seeking admission to the graduate program. LDP graduates who have completed the accelerated status option and apply to the MLA professional degree program will receive advanced standing in the MLA program upon acceptance by the Department of Landscape Architecture and the Graduate School.
- Integrated status is granted on a competitive basis
- Deadline for applications is 15 January.
- Acceptance letters are sent 15 April.
