: This site provides links to great photographic images of temperate zone landscape plants. You'll need to know botanical names to use these databases.
Ornamental Plant Database: Database of factsheets on ornamental/landscape plants including descriptions, culture, pest and disease control. Geared towards professionals.
Plant Database: Plant database of woody and herbaceous plants at Iowa State. Organized by scientific or common name.
WebGarden Factsheet Database: Searchable database of over 4,000 links to horticultural factsheets from the US, Canada and the Netherlands. Covers all aspects of landscaping.
Plant Dictionary: Searchable database of photographic images and descriptions of landscape plants. Great source for images including details of leaves, fruits, flowers, etc.
